An update on things.

Hello all,
Just a quick word to let you know that following my new ID there will indeed be some new stock on the way. It's going to be rather different and interesting I must admit, you might even shake your head a little and say "what a sad strange man" . But you do that anyway don't you?
On another note, I have some promoting to do! If you haven't been checking in on the "dreams" contest currently going on here on dA I suggest you check it out. However, before you do I strongly recommend you take a gander at this fine piece of work right here: rorke.deviantart.com/art/May-I…
Created by the ever so talented, lovely and down-right awesome justwaitforit, she also just so happens to be my much better half. So go take a boo at her entry, be amazed, and even better, be impressed! It really is a wonderful painting, and I've watched her create many of them so I should know.

Well, ...stock actually.
I might as well stop making promises of being more frequent and regular with my stock, we all know it's gotten to a point where I really don't know when I'll have a round of shots to put up. With that being said I'll have you know that I will not be abandoning the stock side of things, and I do plan on continuing. I just can't give any promises or deadlines. I like doing stock and photography in general, just a matter of letting myself get around to doing it.
Remember, just when you think there will be no more new wookiestock, I just might surprise you. More interesting that way, no?

Hello one and all!
Here's a little update to let you all know about the ever so amazing Butterfly-Project !
A new stock site conceived of and created by my wife Holly, a.k.a. justwaitforit . It seems that stocking is becoming a bit of a family pastime around here. Her stock is going to be rather interesting in the way that as a digital designer she knows exactly the kind of stock digital designers and any artist out there is looking for. If you're keen about full turn around poses her stock is whatcha want. So go forth and welcome Holly into the stock community that I've come to adore so much.

A new Wookiestock on the horizon.

Greetings,
With the arrival of my K200D I believe a series of events has been set in motion. Those events just so happen to be simple things, things like getting a bigger hackdrop (commonly known as a drop sheet). As well as better lighting and supports for both the lighting and backdrop. No more thumb tacks! The list is a few more items heavier then that but I'm sure you get the idea, a makeshift studio is in the making.
So far I've gotten the backdrop (8X12) and new 2600 lumen compact fluorescent bulb to add to the quite modest collection of lights I already have...all two of em. The next item on the shopping list will be a remote for the pentax, it will make things significantly easier. In the long run my plan is to be taking my stock photography and photography in general more seriously, turning it into a significant hobby.
I would like to close with a note on requests. Further down the line, preferably with the remote and superior lighting in the equation I will start taking on requests. I will be sure to keep you all updated on the progress of my setup and let you know when you can start lighting up the request lines. Basically, I would just like to have things set up a bit better before I get -really- back into the stocking biz.

As I type this down I realize that this is not the first time I've made a journal entry about how I'm trying to come back into the stock community. I assure you that I have been struck with new motivation and will power to do so.
justwaitforit, my wife surprised me with a shiny new Pentax K200D for Christmas! Needless to say I was quite tickled, even teared up a bit, lol.
So now, not only am I inspired and ready to give you all fresh new stockart, but Holly (Rork) is as well. She's planning on starting up her own stock account, I'll be sure to let you know when it's up and running.
As for the new set of stock entitled "He's back", they're more of an experiment to try to get a good handle on how to take my self portraits with the new camera. I've yet to get a remote for it so it makes it a little challenging to get the focus just right without anyone in front of the camera. I suppose I could dangle something from the ceiling in the area I will be, or just get holly to pitch in...dur. Anywho, with a little practice with lighting and focus and whatnot we should be well on our way.
To all of you who have supported me through my experience here in the dA stockart community, thankyou. I hope I'm able to return the favor.
